You get one link for your venue. A guest opens it from the table, the pavement or on their way over, picks items from your menu and places the order. The ticket appears on your dashboard with a short code like A47, and you move it through preparing, ready and completed — the guest sees each change on their phone and collects at the counter. Ordering is included in the Pro plan.
No, never. Marketplace platforms take 20-30% of every order, forever. Coffeeloc charges a flat $9 per month on the Pro plan and takes nothing from the order value, however many orders you handle. Payment is settled between you and your guest — orders can be taken for payment on collection or on delivery — so the full ticket stays with you.
Not yet. An order starts as soon as it lands on your dashboard, which fits the coffee-and-pastry case Coffeeloc was built around. Timed pickup slots are not part of the current release.
No. Your customers scan a QR code with their normal phone camera, or open your link. The menu, the order and the stamp card all open in their web browser — there is nothing to install on either side. Removing the download step is the single biggest reason people actually use it. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes are not supported today.
Yes — our Free plan is free forever, with no credit card required. You can run your stamp card and QR menu for up to 100 customers and one location indefinitely. Our Pro plan ($9/mo) is completely month-to-month with no contracts. If you cancel Pro, your QR codes keep working — your account simply reverts to the Free plan limits at the end of your billing cycle.
Most venues are live the same day. Create your account, photograph your printed menu and let the importer pull out the items and prices, then correct anything it read wrong. Set your stamp card reward (for example "Buy 9, get the 10th free"), print the QR code we generate, and you are taking orders. No technical knowledge required.
Coffeeloc runs completely independently of your POS — there is no integration with Square, SumUp, Toast or any other register system, and orders do not flow into your till automatically. In practice you keep the order queue open on a phone or tablet at the counter and ring the sale through your existing register as normal. That means it works alongside any POS, but it does not replace one.
You do, 100%. Your customer list belongs to your business — not to us, not to a third-party platform. You can export your full contact list at any time as a CSV file. Unlike using a food delivery app where the platform owns the customer relationship, Coffeeloc gives you direct ownership of every contact you collect.
Absolutely. You choose the number of stamps required, the reward offered (for example "free coffee", "50% off", "free pastry"), and your business name and branding. You can update these settings anytime from your dashboard — changes reflect instantly for all customers without reprinting anything.
Not yet. Campaigns are still in development and the dashboard section is currently disabled. The list they will use is being built right now, though — every loyalty signup and every direct order creates a contactable customer record, so when campaigns launch the customers you signed up in the meantime are already there.
Yes, if you have your own drivers. Each courier gets their own login link that opens onto a screen showing only the orders assigned to them, with one action to mark an order delivered. They cannot see your dashboard or your customer list. Coffeeloc does not supply couriers and does not connect to a third-party delivery fleet — the drivers have to be yours.
Not yet. Each account currently covers one venue. Multi-location management — separate QR codes and dashboard views per branch, with one stamp card valid across all of them — is on the roadmap and not available today.
