No! That is the beauty of Coffeeloc. Your customers simply scan a QR code at the counter using their normal smartphone camera or tap an NFC tag. Their digital card opens directly in their web browser or Apple/Google Wallet. This removes all friction and increases participation by 80% compared to traditional apps.
Yes — our Free plan is free forever, with no credit card required. You can run your stamp card and QR menu for up to 100 customers and one location indefinitely. Our Pro plan ($29/mo) is completely month-to-month with no contracts. If you cancel Pro, your QR codes keep working — your account simply reverts to the Free plan limits at the end of your billing cycle.
Coffeeloc runs independently of your POS. You simply keep a small "Stamper device" or a unique QR code behind the counter. When a customer makes a purchase, your staff taps their phone or lets them scan the code. It literally adds 2 seconds to the transaction, meaning it works alongside ANY register system (Square, SumUp, Toast, etc).
If you don't have a website (or your current one is outdated), our team will design, build, and host a beautiful, fast-loading website on your own custom domain (e.g., yourcafe.com). We handle everything, and you can edit your opening hours or menu easily from the Coffeeloc dashboard. Get in touch and we'll put together a quote based on what you need.
Most businesses are fully live within 5 minutes. You create your account, set up your stamp card reward (e.g. "Buy 9, get 10th free"), and we generate your unique QR code instantly. Print it, place it on your counter, and you're done. No technical knowledge required — if you can use a smartphone, you can run Coffeeloc.
No commission, ever. Unlike Deliveroo or Uber Eats which take 20–30% of every order, Coffeeloc's online ordering (included in the Pro plan) is completely commission-free. Customers order directly from your QR menu, you receive the order on your dashboard, and 100% of the payment goes to you. You can enable click & collect, delivery, or both — your choice.
Yes, and it's one of the most powerful Pro features. Every time a customer scans your QR code, their contact details are added to your customer list automatically. From your dashboard you can send bulk SMS messages or email campaigns to your entire list — or filter by visit frequency. On the Pro plan, email campaigns are unlimited and included. SMS credits are available in bundles. Campaigns are not available on the Free plan.
You do, 100%. Your customer list belongs to your business — not to us, not to a third-party platform. You can export your full contact list at any time as a CSV file. Unlike using a food delivery app where the platform owns the customer relationship, Coffeeloc gives you direct ownership of every contact you collect.
Absolutely. You choose the number of stamps required (anywhere from 5 to 20), the reward offered (e.g. "free coffee", "50% off", "free pastry", "free cocktail"), and your business name and branding. You can update these settings anytime from your dashboard — changes reflect instantly for all customers without reprinting anything.
Yes. If you run more than one location, each one gets its own QR code and its own dashboard view. Customer stamp cards work across all your locations automatically — so a customer who stamps at your city centre branch can claim their reward at your airport branch. Multi-location is available on the Pro plan.
